Training Program & Schedule

The first session will explore what Drupal is and how it came to be.  You will learn why it has been gaining momentum among web technologies, and better understand the business case for open source publishing.

Following a brief break, attendees will use their laptop’s browser to install and configure Drupal on a remote server. You will get hands-on experience with the steps taken to configure Drupal and learn what it is like to work with Drupal as a content editor. Topics covered include creating, publishing and tagging content, managing permissions, security, usability, and more.
