Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP is a growing, regionally-focused law firm with more than 60 lawyers. The firm has two offices, one in Cincinnati and another in northern Kentucky.

Problem

The Graydon Head & Ritchey LLP internet presence was dated, inconsistent with their marketing collateral and incapable of presenting the services and offering the functionality the firm desired. What they wanted was a website that reflected the firm’s prominence in the region, their community involvement, their longevity and the breadth of services provided through their practice areas. As a growing regional firm with offices on both sides of the Ohio River in Kentucky and Ohio, the site needed to be flexible to accommodate growth. They also wanted a site that could be easily updated by in-house staff without cost or delay.

Solutions

  • Design: Duo created a sophisticated, modern design that complemented the firm’s marketing materials. For photo imagery, Duo suggested that the firm hold a photography contest among the staff.  Remarkable photos generated by firm staffers were used on the site to illustrate the firm’s regional focus.
  • Information Architecture: Duo re-organized the content to improve navigation and make the site scalable for anticipated growth.
  • Content Management:  A new content management system (CMS) made it possible for multiple users in different departments to add or change content. This was especially important for the human resources and marketing staff. With the new CMS, users can update job openings, receive resume applications, post event registrations and solicit newsletter subscriptions. The site is integrated with email marketing communication provider ExactTarget. This enables the firm to send targeted email messages to clients and prospects with a high level of deliverability and to track email marketing performance.
