Content Marketing World Transforms You Into a Storytelling Factory

Content Marketing continues to gain recognition and momentum as the methodology for marketing online. Duo just hosted WebContent Conference with a focus on “Going Mobile,” June 6-7th. It was evident from the turnout and the fantastic involvement of the audience that there’s no shortage of people looking for advice on developing their content strategies.

Our good friends over at Content Marketing Institute (CMI) are hosting a conference of their own this September. We believe that if you really want to get into the content marketing game, you owe it to yourself and your organization to participate with others at a conference to discover the power of content marketing. Your next opportunity is Content Marketing World which takes place in Cleveland, Ohio on September 6, 7, & 8th, with a focus on teaching “how to transform your marketing department into a storytelling factory.” In addition to the emphasis on storytelling, they’ll also be providing a platform for speakers to discuss the best ways to engage prospects “in the right channels with the right message,” whether that be social, mobile, email, online, or even print and person to person.

Kicking off on the 6th with an opening night reception at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the pre-conference events earlier in the day include a student-only event about careers in content marketing, and a workshop. On the 7th, you’ll have plenty of programs to attend, with CMI’s Joe Pulizzi opening presentation-packed day featuring keynote speakers and breakout sessions targeted to B2B, B2C, and Non-profit/Small Businesses. If you’re not too tired at the end of the day, after the cocktail reception you can always check out some quality comedic entertainment, provided by Day 3 speaker Kevin Smith, (aka Silent Bob) at Pickwick & Frolic.

But don’t stay out too late, because Day 3 looks equally packed with exciting and essential programs. Starting off is a panel on “Building a Business on the Back of Content,” followed by a series of break-out sessions targeted to Executive Level, Content Strategy, and Online/Social Media. Some WebContent Con. speakers will be making appearances here as well, including Kristina Halvorson, Rob Rose, and Ahava Leibtag of Aha Media Group. The closing keynote is a special presentation by Kevin Smith, “a writer, producer, director, podcaster and all-around content marketer,” about all the ways storytelling is employed across fields, and his personal career re-invention.

Registration is open now, and hopefully we’ll see you there!
