Rachel has been developing and designing for the web since 2001, focusing primarily on ColdFusion application development.  She is also knowledgeable in SQL, XML, Javascript, and CSS.  Rachel’s previous experience involved developing applications in the higher education sector, where she became proficient with Serena Collage CMS. She is currently expanding her knowledge of Collage through Duo’s projects, and hopes to continue doing so. Rachel has a passion for usability and beautiful interfaces, and hates nothing more than poorly indented code.

Rachel holds a degree in Communication Systems from Northwestern University and is currently working on her Masters in Computer Information Systems. She enjoys cooking, travel, tennis and exploring Chicago’s many restaurants. She is a huge fan of simple, yet effective applications such as Flickr, everything Google, and the CRM 37signals.
